We hope you are all keeping well? This week we seem to have moved swiftly from Indian Summer to a Winter 'monsoon' with a big drop in temperatures and lots of rainfall. The season of jumpers and woollies and central heating seems to be suddenly upon us.
With the change in temperature, all our churches are meeting indoors this Sunday for services, as follows:
Chalgrave 9.30am Holy Communion (our first Sunday service in church since March).
Harlington 9.30am Holy Communion
Tingrith - no service this week but next Sunday at 9.30am will be a Service of the Word.
Toddington - 11.15am Holy Communion
Westoning - 11am Morning worship with a baptism, followed by Annual Parochial Church Meeting at 12 noon
Each service will follow social distancing guidelines so please wear a face covering whilst inside the church building and sanitise your hands on entering and on leaving the building.
The Upper Room Zoom service this week considers 'Finding Peace with God' with several speakers sharing their experiences. Please ask for details.
The Holy Communion Services will use the churches' red Common Worship books (which we can safely isolate afterwards). Above is attached a copy of this week's blue reading sheet in case you wish to print this, but there will be sufficient copies in church to hand out, if you don't.
Nigel and I have recorded a service this week by audio, The service sheet for this week's recorded service is on the main page so you can follow the service and join in with the responses. The hymns by St Martins Singers offer a lovely opportunity to sing along at home (where we are still able to sing!). Nicholas has also played some lovely musical accompaniment.

Thursday 9.30am Morning Prayer at Toddington followed by Private Prayer at 10.30am.
APCM Meetings
Westoning Annual Parochial Church Meeting Sunday 4th October 12 noon following the morning service.
Harlington Annual Parochial Church Meeting Monday 5th October 7pm commencing with a short act of public worship.
Toddington's Annual Parochial Church Meeting will be on Monday 19th October (not Thursday October 8th), commencing with Evening Prayer public worship at 7pm and APCM following at 7.30pm
Chalgrave Annual Parochial Church Meeting will be on Sunday 25th October 2.30pm (No morning service this Sunday), commencing with a short act of public worship.
Tingrith APCM - date and time to be confirmed.
