A Message from Nigel

Dear Everyone,

As we move into the 4th week of the lockdown we send you blessing and encouragement. Dealing with the restrictions doesn't get any easier does it, but now is not the time to surrender our good practices which have formed to help us cope. Perhaps we should be refining them and establishing new routines in this new season, actively initiating good godly ways.

As Paul says to the Corinthians:

'Brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.' (2 Corinthians. 11)

For me that means being aware of my extended family of brothers and sisters, colleagues, church family and those in the community in which I live, sharing in their difficulties but also rejoicing in all the good things which are happening and offering the encouragement of the 'Good News' of Jesus.

Faith in Him pushes back our fears and a strange but welcome peace takes its place as we feel the peace which Jesus brought to the Upper Room and the tangible presence of Love itself. Love is the answer in so many situations.

Do link when you can and be encouragers of others where and when you can.

with love and prayer

Nigel and Linda
